[CZ] ausgezeichnet mit dem Red Dot Award: Product Design [2021]
Als multidisziplinär denkende Designerin lässt sich Adéla Bačová ungern auf eine kreative Spielweise beschränken. Sie fühlt sich sowohl im Produktdesign als auch in der Innenarchitektur oder bei kleineren architektonischen Maßnahmen zuhause. Neben ihrem eigenen Label entwirft Adéla auch Kollektionen für verschiedene Kunden. So entstand gemeinsam mit KOMA Modular unlängst die Serie FASHION LINE, die auch mit dem Red Dot Award ausgezeichnet wurde. Dabei handelt es sich um vorgefertigte Module, die Raum zum Entspannung, Arbeiten, Einkaufen oder Kaffeetrinken bieten. Die Module können innerhalb eines Monats nach der Bestellung eingerichtet und genutzt werden.
Ein weiteres spannendes Projekt ist die Rekonstruktion des CAFÉ ARCHA in Zlín. Dabei ging es Adéla darum, einen unverwechselbaren Raum zu schaffen. Als Inspirationsquelle dienten weniger aktuelle Trends, als vielmehr die traditionelle Architektursprache der Stadt – in aufgefrischter Form. Das für den Funktionalismus typische Gebäude aus den 1930er Jahren legte das Spiel mit farbigen Oberflächen im Innenraum nahe. Dazu passen perfekt die Bugholz-Möbel von TON sowie einfache runde Lampen und als Kontrast organisch geformte Keramikvasen, die in Mähren handgefertigt werden.
BLOCKS, eine Kollektion von Keramikobjekten in Form von Vasen und Tischchen, balanciert zwischen angewandter Kunst, Skulptur und Architektur. Strenge Geometrie trifft dabei auf freie Formen, traditionelle Handwerkskunst auf organische Materialien. Die kobaltblaue Farbe verweist auf den traditionellen Prozess der Keramik- und Porzellandekoration, andere Teile sind in erdigen Tönen gehalten. Design zum Anfassen, das immer auch einen zweiten Blick lohnt.

As a multidisciplinary designer, Adéla Bačová does not like to be limited to one creative style. She feels at home in product design as well as in interior design or smaller architectural measures. In addition to her own label, Adéla also designs collections for various clients. For example, together with KOMA Modular, she created the FASHION LINE modular series, which also won the Red Dot Award. These are prefabricated modules that provide space for relaxing, working, shopping or drinking coffee. The modules can be set up and used within one month of ordering.
Another exciting project is the reconstruction of CAFÉ ARCHA in Zlín. Adéla's aim here was to create a distinctive space. The source of inspiration was not so much current trends, but rather the traditional architectural language of the city – in a refreshed form. The 1930s building, typical of functionalism, suggested playing with colored surfaces in the interior. This is perfectly matched by bentwood furniture from TON, as well as simple round lamps and, as a contrast, organically shaped ceramic vases handmade in Moravia.
BLOCKS, a collection of ceramic objects in the form of vases and small tables, balances between applied art, sculpture and architecture. Strict geometry meets free forms, traditional craftsmanship meets organic materials. The cobalt blue color refers to the traditional process of decorating ceramics and porcelain, other pieces are in earthy tones. Design to touch, which is always worth a second look.
