Wenn es eine Sache gibt, die dem in Prag ansässigen Architektenteam von FORMAFATAL wichtig ist, dann ist es die individuelle Herangehensweise an jedes einzelne Projekt. Der Fokus liegt dabei stets auf den spezifischen menschlichen Bedürfnissen sowie den Wünschen des Kunden. Ein gegenseitiges Verständnis, Enthusiasmus, die ungezwungene Zusammenarbeit und einheitliche konzeptionelle Lösungen sind aus Sicht des Kreativteams für den Erfolg absolut entscheidend – und sozusagen das Geheimrezept, um Projekte vom ersten Strich bis zur Schlüsselübergabe vollständig durchdacht und mit Liebe zum Detail zu realisieren.

Für FORMAFATAL bedeutet Arbeit Leben und Leidenschaft. Bei ihren Projekten arbeiten sie oft auch mit anderen Künstlern zusammen, um Talente zu fördern. Auf diese Weise entstehen originelle und innovative Räume – Kulturräume, die der Gesellschaft dienen. Aspekte der Nachhaltigkeit sind für FORMAFATAL ein Ding der Selbstverständlichkeit. Ihre Herangehensweise an die Architektur berücksichtigt und akzentuiert aber auch historische Werte – immer mit dem Ziel, diese zu erhalten.

Das Projekt ATELIER COSTA RICA ist Teil einer Luxus-Ferienanlage – den ART VILLAS COSTA RICA – und bietet, versteckt im Dschungel, eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf die umliegende Landschaft. Beinahe nackt besinnt sich das zurückhaltende Bauwerk ganz auf seine Materialität und ordnet sich der Umgebung dadurch fast schüchtern unter. Zeitlos, elegant und mit viel Liebe zum Detail fügt sich die Villa ganz natürlich in die wilde Landschaft und bietet den Gästen einen gemütlichen Ort zum Wohlfühlen.

Wem diese Reise zu weit ist, der findet direkt in Prag, im argentinischen Restaurant GRAN FIERRO II, dennoch jede Menge südamerikanisches Flair und Temperament. Unter dem Motto Rauch & Feuer lag der Fokus bei der Gestaltung auf einem nachhaltigen Umgang mit Ressourcen in Bezug auf Design und Rohstoffe. Die BIO-Kohle, die aus in der Küche anfallenden Holzresten selbst hergestellt wird, haben die Architekten überall im Restaurant in Szene gesetzt. Nach dem Essen lohnt sich ein Abstecher in die Weinbar AUTENTISTA. Das Konzept auch hier: bewusst minimalistisch, stark materialbasiert, mit einigen starken Farbakzenten und kunstvollen Elementen. Der Wein ist hier der Star, der Besuch wird erst durch die Interaktion zum Erlebnis – ein Raum, der seinem Zweck im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes dient, ohne dabei aufdringlich oder laut zu werden. Man möchte eigentlich nie mehr weiterziehen ...

One thing that is really important to Prague based architects and designers of FORMAFATAL is the individual approach to each and every project. The focus is always on specific human needs and client’s requirements. Therefore mutual understanding with the client, enthusiasm, natural collaboration and unified conceptual solutions are absolutely crucial. By this, projects can be solved complexly from creative concept to realization, with attention to detail.

To FORMAFATAL work means life and passion. In their projects, they often cooperate with other artists because they love to support talented individuals – together with them they create original and innovative spaces that cultivate society. The emphasis on sustainability is a matter of course in their projects. In their approach to architecture, they also consider and accentuate historical values – always trying to preserve them.

Project ATELIER COSTA RICA is part of the holiday rental ART VILLAS COSTA RICA and hidden in green natural area with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. Almost naked, the restrained building reflects entirely on its materiality and thus almost shyly subordinates itself to the surroundings. Timeless, elegant and with great attention to detail, the villa blends naturally into the wild landscape and offers guests a cozy place to feel at home.

If this journey is too far for you, you will still find plenty of South American flair and temperament right in Prague, at the Argentinian restaurant GRAN FIERRO II. Under the motto Smoke & Fire, the focus in the design was on a sustainable use of resources in terms of design and raw materials. The BIO charcoal, which is produced in-house from wood scraps generated in the kitchen, was showcased by the architects throughout the restaurant. After dinner, it's worth taking a detour to the AUTENTISTA wine bar. The concept here, too: deliberately minimalist, strongly material-based, with some strong color accents and artistic elements. The wine is the star here, the visit only becomes an experience through interaction – a space that serves its purpose in the truest sense of the word, without becoming intrusive or loud.
